What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for visual and ocular health assessments
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing medications and therapeutic procedures
• Guide patients on eyewear and contact lens fittings
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Stay updated on industry trends and optometry advancements
• Participate in hospital call coverage (5 days per month) as needed
• Perform procedures including nexplanon insertions and pessary fittings as required

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Valid AL State Optometry License or in process (applying candidates considered)
• Strong clinical skills and patient-focused approach
• Ability to start immediately if licensed or within 2-6 months for licensure process
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
