Join Our Team as a Sensei (Coding Instructor) at Code Ninjas – Woodbury, MN

At Code Ninjas, we’re passionate about empowering kids to unlock their potential through coding, robotics, and technology. Located in Woodbury, MN, our dojo is a vibrant, fun-filled environment where kids learn to code by building their own video games, exploring robotics, and diving into the exciting world of AI. We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Senseis (Coding Instructors) and help guide the next generation of tech innovators.

Responsibilities

As a Code Sensei, you’ll play a vital role in shaping young minds and creating a positive learning experience. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Teaching and supporting students across various programs, including our Junior Program, CREATE Program, Robotics Academy, AI Academy, themed clubs, camps, and special events.
• Helping students grasp coding concepts, troubleshoot their projects, and progress through the curriculum at their own pace, while ensuring students stay engaged and excited about learning
• Conducting Game Building Sessions
• Tracking student progress and communicating updates to leadership and parents as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dojo environment.
• Answering parent calls when the manager is unavailable.
• Participating in training sessions and adhering to Code Ninjas curriculum standards.

Qualifications

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about technology, education, and working with kids. While no prior experience is required, the ideal candidate will have:

• A strong interest in coding, robotics, technology, or education.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
• A willingness to learn and follow the Code Ninjas curriculum and teaching standards.
