Seven Healthcare are seeking an RN - Critical Care for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working within a dynamic mixed cardiac and medical ICU environment where you will provide both routine and complex care. The ideal candidate will have experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and post-op cardiovascular surgeries.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Critical Care

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Critical Care

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• One year of experience in a Critical Care setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered
