Focused on building long-term relationships through a nationwide network of over 1,400 employees and sales partners, the professionals at Herff Jones have been helping elevate the student experience throughout the lifelong journey of education for more than 100 years.Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately shipping and receiving customer orders.What You'll Bring to the Table:Assist in unloading trailers as they arriveDocument and check-in materials and products that are receivedDistribute products throughout the facilityMove materials throughout the Plant and WarehouseReceives daily completed orders and processes all packages to UPS, Federal Express or any other means as directed by management dailyReports all inventory levels of shipping materials to the Lead person such as boxes, tape, etcPerforms all other miscellaneous duties as assignedDocument and input inventory records into the Inventory Management SystemRequirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent1 to 2 years' experience in similar shipping positionAbility to read and write in English is requiredMust be able to work overtime and on Saturdays during busy seasonsAbility to establish priorities and work independentlyProficient computer skills - sending e-mails, working with word processing and spreadsheet software programs (Microsoft Word and Excel skills are a plus)Strong communication skillsMulti-tasking skillsHerff Jones, Inc. and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers and maintain affirmative action plans to recruit, retain, develop, and promote qualified individuals without unlawful consideration of race, gender, gender identity, color, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, citizenship status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
