Maintenance Specialist I

Responsibilities Perform all routine golf course maintenance. Mow greens, tees, and fairways. Assist with construction projects as necessary. Operate and maintain equipment used in daily operations. Fill out reports and submit to supervision. Perform related duties as required. Requirements Ability to sit, stand and transport oneself from building to building. Ability to drive vehicle to and from various work sites. Employee will work in seasonal temperatures, bending, lifting and moving pieces of equipment in order to complete work or make repairs on golf course equipment. Employee may be exposed to potentially hazardous chemicals while maintaining the golf course. Employee communicates with other employees in the work group and may respond to questions from the public or vendors regarding services or specific projects. Ability to read and understand work orders and equipment manuals. Skill in the operation of hand tools and equipment such as mowers, powered trimmers, saws and other gardening and maintenance tools. Knowledge of golf course helpful. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Texas driver's license required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
