About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director, Sales to lead an ultra-rare sales team with a focus on patient identification and access. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-creating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, leading and developing a team of Regional Business Directors, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the rare disease space. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in leading high-performing sales teams, particularly in the rare or ultra-rare disease states. The Executive Director will be expected to balance strategic planning with tactical execution, drive growth, and ensure that all sales activities comply with the necessary regulations. Applicants for the Executive Director, Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of leadership sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a preference for those with a background in rare disease sales. The role demands a deep understanding of market dynamics, patient access, and regulatory environments, as well as a strong ability to analyze data, identify business opportunities, and mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, resilient, and possess strong leadership and team-building skills. Collaboration across functions, strategic influence, and stakeholder management experience are also key requirements for this role.
