Food Service Part Time Position

Allendale Public Schools Posting Position: Food Service Part Time Position* - High School Posting Dates: June 16, 2026 until filled Reports To: High School Team Leader Effective Date of Employment: August 2026 Starting Wage: $15.52 per hour *This is a school calendar position, approximately 3.75 hours per day - 5 days per week. Actual start and end times will be determined as the lunch schedule for this building is finalized and ongoing needs of our program are reviewed yearly. Currently 9:00am -12:45 pm, subject to change.

Job Summary: The main responsibilities is preparing salad and wrap items for students and staff for the building and the district in addition to being a Cashier. This position requires organization and completing tasks in timely manner. All duties should be practiced with habits of personal appearance and grooming as determined by foodservice policy. Must be able to lift and/or carry about 25lbs.

Requirements: High School diploma Food service experience preferred. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate but distractions can be frequent due to building traffic. Mental Functions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
