About the Role:

Callen-Lorde is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse – Per Diem to join our integrated team. As an LPN you will play a crucial role in assisting primary care providers, including physicians and mid-level providers, in delivering top-notch patient care. Your responsibilities will include providing general nursing care, assisting with triage, offering patient services, and providing clinical support.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

• Assist primary care providers in delivering patient care services.

• Provide general nursing care under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

• Assist with triage procedures and patient assessments.

• Offer patient services with empathy and professionalism.

• Provide clinical support in various healthcare settings.

• Always ensure confidentiality of patient information.

• Collaborate effectively with other members of the Nursing team.

Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem position requiring a flexible schedule of 10-20 hours per week. Clinic hours are Monday and Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM; Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 10:00AM - 4:45 PM.

Qualifications

• New York State LPN License

• Current CPR certification

• Strong Computer Competency

• Two years experience in an out-patient clinical setting preferred

• Experience serving Callen-Lorde's target populations preferred
