This includes assessment and analysis of the patient’s skills and challenging behaviors, development of treatment plans, overseeing implementation of treatment, collaboration with and training of caregivers, and ongoing coaching and training of behavioral technicians. Treatment plans address medical necessity and may occur in a variety of settings including CARD centers, patient homes, schools, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors report to the Group Clinical Manager. This is a salaried, exempt, full‑time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient Develop and maintain treatment plans Ensure that all supervision hours are at 100% treatment adherence each month Evaluate patients to identify skill deficits and strengths Analyze challenging behaviors to identify the function of the behavior Develop functionally relevant treatment plans to reduce challenging behaviors Observe treatment implementation for potential program revisions Monitor treatment integrity to ensure satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols Direct behavior technicians in implementation of new or revised treatment protocols Provide ongoing coaching and training to behavioral technicians Work physically within the center to support technicians and follow best practices of direct observation Summarize and analyze data to evaluate patient progress toward treatment goals and adjust protocols based on data Update treatment plans at least once per month, based on patient response Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client authorized billable hours per month, inclusive of supervisory and therapy hours Accurately communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers) Coordinate care with other professionals Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments Include caregiver as part of the treatment team, evidenced by consistent collaboration meetings Interact with payers in a collaborative, professional, thorough, and informative manner Engage with payers as needed for funding meetings (IEP, peer reviews) Stay up to date on best practices for ABA treatment to ensure clinical excellence Maintain appropriate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and colleagues Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times Partner consistently and effectively with other center leadership (Operations Manager, Clinical Supervisors, Administrative Coordinator, Technician, Behavior Technician Leads) Other duties as assigned Requirements Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field Certification as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Empathetic and compassionate; maintain strict confidentiality Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a positive and solution‑focused attitude Work independently to problem‑solve and exercise clinical judgment Effective communicator in verbal and written formats Excellent time‑management skills; work in a fast‑paced, changing environment Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to use new systems and iPads Desire to continuously learn and develop skill sets Willingness to work in a variety of locations (center, patient home, etc.) Reliable means of transportation with proof of auto insurance Proficiency in English, both written and verbal Work Environment Treatment may occur in a variety of settings including patient homes, CARD centers, schools, community, or via telehealth. Clinical Supervisors work in both indoor and outdoor environments and may move between different locations throughout the workday. Environments may be subject to loud or excessive noise at times. Physical Requirements Work with patients who are seated on the floor, in small chairs, or other indoor/outdoor environments Move frequently throughout therapeutic settings, anticipating and responding to patient movement Position oneself to participate and respond to patient movements and behaviors (bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.) Utilize continuous visual tracking to monitor patient movement and surroundings Evade aggressive behaviors or physically block attempts to aggress toward others, when necessary Bear weight of a patient leaning or pushing, as needed Teach patients to use vocal speech and model speaking clearly Use modeling to teach gross motor (climbing, jumping) and fine motor skills (clapping, opening a container) Work in outdoor settings, including varied weather conditions Lift up to 30 lbs while assisting patients Legal and Equal Opportunity Statement Qualified Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
