This role combines strong on-air presence with editorial leadership to connect with audiences in a meaningful way. Presents news stories and other content for all platforms, including CTV Digital Host a Digital CTV Show Uphold the highest standards of journalistic integrity and production quality. Write and deliver clear, concise, and engaging news stories. Produce newscasts and provide clear direction to team members. Collaborate on writing, copy editing, research, and coordination of news programming. Report from the field as assigned and conduct interviews. Respond quickly to breaking news and urgent newsroom situations. Participate in promotional activities and community events. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Edits video clips as assigned. Writes content for the website and other digital platforms. Engage with viewers and users on social media. Requirements & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to ad-lib when necessary. Minimum of four years’ experience in news reporting or anchoring (varies by market size). Strong on-air presence and excellent news judgment. Broad knowledge of local and national current events, history, and key issues. Leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate, and mentor others. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
