Chief Estimator - Mechanical Construction (Piping, HVAC & Plumbing) - Columbus, OH

Gryphon Oakwood are currently partnered with a $600M mechanical contractor that are seeking a Chief Estimator to take ownership of the estimating division within their Columbus office. The company is actively pursuing projects ranging from $10M–$50M across Healthcare, Higher Education, Mission Critical and Advanced Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the estimating division within the Columbus office Take ownership of estimating strategy, processes and delivery Lead estimates and bids for mechanical projects ranging from $10M–$50M Review plans, specifications and contract documents Work closely with operations, preconstruction and business development teams Develop accurate budgets, bids and pricing strategies Mentor and develop the estimating team Help identify and pursue new project opportunities Requirements: 10+ years of mechanical estimating experience Proven experience bidding mechanical projects exceeding $10M–$20M Strong commercial mechanical construction background Experience with HVAC, Plumbing and Piping Experience across Healthcare, Higher Education, Mission Critical or Advanced Manufacturing is highly desirable Strong understanding of project pricing, labor, materials and subcontractor procurement #J-18808-Ljbffr Gryphon Oakwood
