Ebenezer Child Care Centers is looking for an enthusiastic Center Director ready to bring energy, creativity, and leadership to one of our 5-Star early childhood programs. As a Center Director, you’re the heartbeat of your center. You’ll lead your team, support teachers, partner with families, celebrate children, tackle challenges, and help create a center where people genuinely want to be. Some days you’ll be planning and problem-solving. Other days you might jump into a classroom, celebrate a child’s accomplishment, support a teacher, or simply share a laugh with your team. No two days are exactly alike—and that’s what makes this job so much fun! In This Role, You Will: Lead the way by overseeing daily operations and keeping things running smoothly. Build your team by recruiting, mentoring, encouraging, and supporting staff. Build relationships with children, families, and team members. Champion great teaching by supporting our E.P.I.C. Curriculum Framework and high-quality early learning practices. Keep things moving by managing staffing, scheduling, enrollment, documentation, and compliance. Partner with families by listening, communicating, solving problems, and celebrating successes. Create a place people love by keeping your center welcoming, safe, engaging, and full of positive energy. Be a problem solver who can stay calm, think creatively, and find solutions. Have FUN! Can walk into a busy day and say, “Okay, we’ve got this!” Is organized but flexible enough to roll with the unexpected. Believes teachers do their best work when they feel supported and valued. Can have a serious conversation when needed—and laugh with your team five minutes later. Is confident making decisions and taking ownership. Loves celebrating the little wins. Is creative, curious, and always looking for ways to make things better. Has a genuine passion for early childhood education. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred; Associate’s Degree considered with relevant experience. Previous early childhood experience, preferably in a leadership or administrative role. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Wisconsin childcare licensing regulations and early childhood best practices. A collaborative, positive leadership style. Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for children, families, and teachers. CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within three months.
