Job Description LabCorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. Join us as a Phlebotomist at the Client Office in U‑Miami Health Plantation. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Complete other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification. Two or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program accepted in lieu of work experience. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Successful completion of required medical surveillance testing (TB testing, proof of immunity or vaccination for HepatitisB, Varicella, and MMR, and color blind deficiency testing if required).
