Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub on a variety of surgical procedures including orthopedic total joints , laparoscopic procedures, and robotic procedures
• Participate in an on-call rotation within a 6-week schedule, with approximately one call shift per week running from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Participate in weekend call coverage, with approximately one Saturday or Sunday call (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) every 5 weeks
• Respond to the facility within 30 minutes of being contacted by a supervisor when on call
• Be available for mandatory call coverage in the event that a scheduled on-call team member is unavailable and no volunteer coverage is found

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to scrub orthopedic total joint procedures
• Demonstrated ability to scrub laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures
• Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes when on call
• Willingness and availability to fulfill mandatory call coverage requirements as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center or similarly fast-paced surgical environment
• Familiarity with a rotating on-call schedule in a high-volume surgical setting
