Roxbury Treatment Center is looking for Per Diem LPNs. Requirement: (4) 12s per month. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. LPN Role/Responsibilities:

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting findings to the unit Charge Nurse/RN.
• Monitors Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participates in Treatment Team meetings as necessary.
• Provides supportive counseling and patient education.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices, including patient education.
• Responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
• One year prior experience in D&A and/or mental health nursing preferred but not required
• Licensure and registration by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners as a licensed practical nurse.
