Account Executive Account Executive – dynamic role at global market leader Gartner. The role focuses on direct client contract value retention, growth, and introduction of new products and services within a major client accounts territory, with a sales quota of 1M+ contract value. What you’ll do: Consult with C‑level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise‑wide strategy that improves the value delivered by Gartner products and services. Manage accounts toward increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth. Fulfill a quota responsibility of 1M+ contract value within the territory of major client accounts. Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. What you need: 5+ years of external experience with validated consultative sales, evidence of prior success. Proficiency in account planning and territory management. Ability to prospect and run C‑level and senior‑level relationships within midsize and large organizations. Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen. Proven experience building excellent client relationships through offering beneficial, insightful and strategic insights into their businesses. Strong proficiency in computer skills. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Benefits & Compensation Base salary range: $102,000 – $147,000 USD (actual may vary). Annual bonus plan or role‑based uncapped sales incentive plan. Generous PTO, 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year.
