Date published: 09-Nov-2022 Job ID: 170531 Description and Requirements Position Type: Contract Compensation Range: $19 - $20 Position Summary Under general supervision, responsible for performing the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts and supplies along with maintaining records of materials/inventory. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Preferred experience in manufacturing Qualifications & Experience Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends. Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English. Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English. Ability to adhere to safety-related issues, including good housekeeping and ergonomics practices. May be required to have workplace organization training and follow procedures, including cross training and teamwork. Repetitive nature – stamina to do the work. Attention to detail. Safety and Quality Propensity to speak up when an issue occurs and bring it up. Ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment. Teamwork – get along with others; work in a diverse setting; participate in continuous improvement and cross‑functional teamwork; conflict resolution. Physical & Mental Requirements Exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to work with and/or sort small component parts. Must have good visual perception and demonstrate fine motor skills/ability. High energy level. Must be able to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately. Must be able to observe and correct/note minute inconsistencies.
