Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out both preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and get samples ready for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and help maintain lab quality assurance standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification through ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain certification throughout your tenure.
