Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/Mobile Paramedical Examiner.

APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The Columbus Ohio office is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company through the policy that is being applied.

Job Summary:
Our independent contractors (ICs) are self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision as they complete quality exams while using their medical know-how. These exams are done on a mobile basis in the home or office of the client and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on forms, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12 lead EKGs. They should be committed to following all compliance policies as well as safety policies and procedures while remaining sensitive to the need for accuracy and confidentiality in the gathering of client information. Depending on the exam requirements, an exam can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.

Hours:

• Set your own schedule!
• Most of our contractors have full-time jobs and use this as an opportunity to make even more money each month.
• You can schedule your own appointments for you, so you get to maximize your time and energy.

Reimbursement:

• You are reimbursed monthly by direct deposit for each exam you complete.
• Fees range from $15 to $30.00 per completed case based on experience and performance.

Territory:

• We are looking for paramedical examiners throughout Central Ohio, including Franklin, Muskingum, Perry, Morgan, Coshocton, Knox, Licking, Guernsey, Fairfield, Ross, Pike, and various other counties:

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience, as well as familiarity with taking vital signs.
• Familiarity with tablets/computers and scanners is a must.
• EKG experience is preferred but not required.
• Please expect references to be checked as well as a background check.

Education preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
