Medical Assistant IIWe are seeking a Medical Assistant II to provide both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, supporting physicians and nurses, and ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations. This position requires a bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.Clinical SupportGreet and prepare patients for examinations and treatmentsObtain and document patient histories, symptoms, and health informationMeasure and record vital signsAdminister injections and medications as permitted by certification and state regulationsPerform diagnostic tests and screeningsCollect specimens and perform blood draws/phlebotomy proceduresSterilize and maintain medical equipmentPrepare and maintain examination roomsAccurately document patient information within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to support quality patient careAdministrative SupportAssist with patient scheduling and clinic workflowMaintain accurate patient records and documentationUtilize Microsoft Outlook and other office systems to support daily operationsEnsure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and patient privacy requirementsDeliver outstanding customer service to patients and familiesRequired QualificationsBilingual in English and Spanish1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience in back-office direct patient careActive Medical Assistant certification or applicable state licensure (RMA/CMA)Current CPR certificationLess than 2 years of professional leadership experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environmentProficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer applicationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeam-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to successfully complete required Tuberculosis (TB) screeningPassion for improving patient experiences and quality of carePreferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentHands-on professional phlebotomy experienceExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systemsExperience with HEDIS measures and quality initiativesActive certification through organizations such as:American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)National Healthcareer Association (NHA)American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)American Medical Technologists (AMT)Active ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification/license
