Job Overview A law firm seeks a qualified Tax Associate for its Corporate and Tax group in Tampa, FL. Remote work is considered. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of transactional tax experience, focusing on substantive tax issues in mergers and acquisitions, entity and fund formations, or joint ventures. Duties Handle substantive tax issues in mergers and acquisitions. Engage in entity and fund formations or joint ventures. Participate in tax controversy and general corporate matters. Interact directly with clients and assume immediate responsibility. Requirements Minimum of two years of transactional tax experience. Excellent academic credentials. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated strong work ethic. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. LL.M. in Taxation preferred. Certifications CPA designation preferred. Skills Ability to handle substantive tax issues in M&A. Strong business acumen and practical intelligence. Ability to relate to clients effectively. Benefits Partnership track opportunity.
