Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and perform CT imaging per protocol for adults and pediatrics, ensuring diagnostic image quality
• Prepare patients, establish IV access when contrast is needed, administer contrast per protocol, and monitor for adverse reactions
• Follow radiation safety guidelines, position patients accurately, and use shielding and immobilization as appropriate
• Process and review images; perform multiplanar reconstructions and 3D/volume rendering as indicated; transmit studies to PACS
• Document examinations in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and maintain accurate patient charts; coordinate with radiologists for interpretation
• Float to related areas as needed within the block schedule and participate in handoffs to support continuous coverage

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications; BLS
• IV certification noted in the posting
• Current New York state radiology license required prior to start (in-hand submission guidance varies; confirm with account manager)
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Ability to work in a hospital setting and float as needed; block weekend schedule
