Learn more at Responsibilities Manage clients' financial operations, including taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll management. Ensure strict compliance with US taxation laws and regulations, including the timely filing of tax returns and payments. Collaborate closely with the sales and business development team to support client acquisition efforts and help grow the firm's client base. Manage accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, encompassing invoicing, collections, payments, and meticulous reconciliation. Maintain meticulous and current financial records and documentation, utilizing advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks. Analyze financial data and trends to derive actionable insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing financial performance and operational efficiency. Foster collaboration across departments to align financial strategies with business initiatives and strategic objectives. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, cultivating a supportive and collaborative work environment. Facilitate smooth client onboarding processes for all assigned engagements, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Actively contribute to client acquisition and retention efforts, delivering unparalleled customer service at every interaction. Organize and update financial records, both digital and physical, to ensure accuracy and accessibility. May participate in external audits, collaborating with auditors and providing required documentation and information as needed. Prepare comprehensive year-end audit schedules and provide support throughout the audit process as needed. Assist in documenting, designing, and testing processes and procedures impacting financial statements or company performance. Drive efficiency by assisting in the automation of systems and spreadsheets to streamline accounting functions and processes Job Skills & Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related; Master's degree is a plus CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is a must 5+ years of professional experience in full-cycle accounting and tax.
