About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Diagnostic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience, interpreting rhythms License: Current active RN license in Michigan Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching for patients and their families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures implementation of solutions to meet patient needs. Experience with cardiac testing is preferred. Expected to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. Cannot guarantee block scheduling but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.
