Senior Interior Designer The Senior Interior Designer you will: Be and articulate, forward-thinking design professional who understands basic and advanced design principles Be a confident, strong presenter who will leading client presentations and meetings (in-person and via video) Act as Senior Designer on projects, delegating work to junior staff Collaborate to determine the unique design style and direction for each project Direct, manage, and mentor team members while managing multiple jobs at one time (both as senior and as lead) Effectively work with consultants, contractors, and vendors Select furnishing, materials, accessories, and finishes while keeping within project budget Review and redline drawing packages for design intent and code compliance Prepare and maintain project files, correspondence, drawings, etc. Takes ownership and accountability of budgeted hours, procurement budget, construction budget, and project schedule on assigned projects, while adhering to schedules and budgets Assist with installations as needed What you will bring: 4-5 years architectural or interior design experience BA / BFA interior design, interior architecture, or related field from an accredited school NCIDQ Certification Strong knowledge of construction materials and methods Comprehensive understanding industry standards, construction methods, and technical systems. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office and Sketchup Innovative ideas, a strong work ethic and a passion for being the best Enthusiastic about always learning, growing, and improving Comprehensive knowledge in drafting interior design drawing packages including finish plans and material specification, schedules, RCP, and electrical plans Strong knowledge of ADA and life safety codes Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% (meetings and installs) What you get in return: Salary 75-85K Competitive benefits (401K, paid vacation, PTO) and a chance to work in a fun, upbeat environment for an award-winning group that is encourages flexibility, creativity, and uniqueness Opportunity to lead teams, elevate and empower your colleagues Our award-winning client takes extreme pride in and is passionate about what they do every single day.
