Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking a Sanitation Associate for their Hampshire, IL facility. This entry-level role is responsible for maintaining company facilities and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition in accordance with company standards and sanitation requirements. Candidates should be comfortable working in a cold and wet environment. Contract Duration: Approximately 6 months (1,056 total hours) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM start, 8-hour days (40 hours/week) Location: Hampshire, IL (on-site) Travel: None required Key Responsibilities: Perform cleaning and sanitation of facilities, production areas, and exterior grounds Complete custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning Assist with dishwashing and laundry services as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and workspaces Support upkeep and organization of parking areas and company grounds Follow all sanitation, safety, and company procedures Required Qualifications: 0-3 years of relevant experience Ability to work in a cold and wet environment for extended periods Willingness to perform physical, hands-on cleaning and maintenance tasks Basic understanding of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a custodial, sanitation, or facility maintenance role Experience in a food production or warehouse environment Familiarity with proper sanitation protocols in commercial settings About the Role: This position offers a consistent daytime schedule and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of a well-established food distribution facility.
