Printing Machine Operator

Printer Machine Operator Our client, a leading organization in the mailing and printing industry, is seeking a Printer Machine Operator to join their team. As a Printer Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the printing or inkjet operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Printer Operator Location: Lynchburg, VA Pay Range: $17.00/hour Shift: 1st shift -- 5:00 am to 1:30 pm; 2nd shift -- 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm; Monday to Friday What's the Job? Operate a computer/manual controlled machine to print, accumulate, fold, insert, seal and verify mail according to work order instructions. Read and understand work orders, perform quality control checks, and verify components match specifications and samples. Set up and troubleshoot insert equipment to maintain efficient processing. Obtain Lead/QC signoff and copy of output sample for first piece produced prior to processing order. Verify materials when opening new cartons. Match output to sign off sample consistently throughout order to ensure accuracy. Monitor inserter for doubles and miss-feeds, proper sealing, fold quality and DRS verification. What's Needed?
