Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments by conducting physical exams and reviewing previous medical records in detail
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
• Work hand in hand with surgeons, developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing the surgical environment, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently handling instruments during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding care pre- and post-operation by administering medications, managing wounds, creating discharge plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are essential
• State licensure (or eligible) as a Physician Assistant
