Assembly Technician Job Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions to build components, subassemblies, and finished products. Assemble, adjust, and repair parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Perform quality inspections, functional testing, and measurements to ensure products meet specifications. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct defects or assembly issues to maintain product quality and performance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation in alignment with 5S principles. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of required PPE. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve production and assembly issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, efficiency, and production processes. Document work activities and communicate issues that may impact production or quality. Assembly Technician Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments. Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment. Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive, precision tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required. Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in precision assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, or advanced technology environments. Experience in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environments. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
