Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients. Overview Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM). Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients. Position Highlights: Join an established and successful practice that has served the Fort Myers community for over 30 years Large single-specialty group - 14 MDs (3 GYN only), 8 Midwives 1 Call Day per Week Post-call Day Off 1 Weekend Call per Month 3 clinic days per week seeing 20-25 patients per day Delivering hospital: Health Park Medical Center (Level III NICU) Must be experienced with high-risk OB Compensation/Benefits Highlights: Competitive compensation Paid time off $2,000 CME reimbursement annually + paid time off Comprehensive health, dental, and vision 401k with matching Short- and long-term disability, company paid life insurance Company paid malpractice coverage Supportive and appreciative culture Requirements: Two years of full-time experience as a CNM is required AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN) Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license CPR and NALS Certification Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain Labor & Delivery experience preferred About Unified Women’s Healthcare is affiliated with the largest, physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network in the nation, with more than 900 affiliated practices and 2,500 providers in 17 states and Washington DC.
