What You'll Do as Our Welding & Fabrication Production Manager Lead the daily welding and fabrication operation, ensuring production stays on schedule while maintaining our high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Plan production priorities and coordinate workflow between fabrication, machining, assembly, and shipping to keep projects moving efficiently. Coach and develop our welding and fabrication team by providing guidance, accountability, and hands-on support that helps each employee succeed. Operate fabrication equipment and assist with welding and fabrication work as needed, leading by example on the shop floor. Review blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions to ensure every project is built accurately and meets customer specifications. Monitor production performance, troubleshoot challenges, and implement practical improvements that increase efficiency while reducing downtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment while enforcing company safety procedures and quality standards. Collaborate with ownership, engineering, and sales to align production schedules, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional equipment on time. Our Ideal Welding & Fabrication Production Manager Experienced Leader: Bring at least four years of MIG welding and fabrication experience, along with a minimum of two years leading, coaching, and mentoring a production team. Skilled Fabricator: Confidently read blueprints and fabrication drawings while working with mild steel, measuring tools, fabrication equipment, and SolidWorks to produce accurate, high-quality work. Problem Solver: Identify production challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement practical solutions that improve workflow, efficiency, and quality. Self-Starter: Be self-motivated, dependable, and ready to take ownership of priorities while helping the team succeed each day. Technically Proficient: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and email to communicate, manage information, and support daily production activities. Physically Capable: Safely lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the workday in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
