Physical Therapy AssistantDelivers high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy treatments under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist to support recovery and enhance mobility. Works with a diverse patient population to relieve pain, restore function, and improve overall quality of life. Actively monitors progress and adapts care within scope to achieve the best possible outcomes.Roles and Responsibilities:Review patient records, therapy goals, and treatment plans established by the Physical TherapistAssess patient condition including strength, mobility, sensory perception, and functional capacityAdminister prescribed physical therapy treatments and monitor patient responsesModify treatments within scope based on patient progress and feedbackDocument patient treatments, progress, and outcomes in compliance with clinic guidelinesCollaborate with the Physical Therapist to adjust care plans as neededSupport clinical training and supervision of students when applicableAssist with clinic operations, including administrative and support tasksParticipate in team meetings, in-services, and professional development activitiesContribute to marketing and community outreach initiatives as neededQualifications, Licensure, Experience:Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant programActive Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice1-2 years of experience preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply)Strong understanding of therapy techniques and patient care practicesAbility to interpret medical and technical documentsBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and documentation systemsBenefits:Competitive compensationOpportunities for professional growth and developmentSupportive team environmentExposure to diverse outpatient cases
