Shift: 24-hour call shifts

Hours/Week: Variable

Employment Type: Locum/Per diem

Licensure/Certs: Ohio medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in Thoracic Surgery

Experience: Preferably 2+ years in cardiac surgery procedures

Perform coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) and arterial revascularization

Conduct redo coronary revascularization, with or without heart valve surgery

Perform pericardial window and heart valve repair/replacement surgeries

Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care in a hospital-based setting

Collaborate with support staff including PAs and ancillary teams

Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and documentation via EPIC system

Provide emergency surgical interventions as needed during call shifts

Ohio medical license and valid DEA

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Minimum 2 years of relevant surgical experience

Proficiency in executing complex cardiac procedures

Strong communication and teamwork skills
