JOB PROFILE

Processes and verifies accuracy of vehicle titles and vehicle sales contracts by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Calculates and posts to computer accounting system profit amount, sales tax, tire tax, finance reserve, extended warranty, document fee and salesperson's commissions.
• Prepares, copies and mails title and car deal documents to customer and/or financial institutions,
• Verifies that required signatures are obtained for financed deals.
• Submit legal transfer documents to the DMV such as duplicate titles and registration for customers and company service vehicles.
• Prepares used vehicles stock cards. Verify and correct title work on trade-ins.
• Receive and Process paperwork from F&I department.
• Logs all deals.
• Issue payoff checks and send to financial institution along with appropriate paperwork.
• Assists customers and financial institutions with any deal related problems.
• Prepares titles for auction.
• Copies and files all paperwork associated with car deal.
• Backup cashier when needed.
• Must get along with others.
• Corresponds with motor vehicle agencies to clear automobile titles.
• Obtains title, signs registration documents on cars traded in, verifies and corrects title work on trade-ins.
• Keeps file of sales contracts.
• Requires being at work on time and maintain satisfactory attendance.
• Any other duties assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6 months of related experience; or one or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
