Position: Clinic Manager - Senior Clinic Location: Puyallup, WA Job Id: 1204 # of Openings: 1 Clinic Manager Department: Clinical FLSA Classification: Exempt Reports to: Chief Operations Officer Position Summary the Clinic Manager brings leadership, problem‑solving skills and encouragement to the clinic’s team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for their clinic, performance management, workflow, budgeting and staffing. To be successful in this role this individual must be knowledgeable on department and company policies. Effective communication, both written and oral, working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and making decisions using sound judgement are essential to this role. The Clinic Manager may also perform medical procedures and general nursing duties, as needed, to support the team in providing patient care. Directs daily clinical and administrative support staff services Uphold Sound Family Medicine policies and procedures Initiate and participate in quality assurance activities Maintain a safe and clean working environment consistent with OSHA and SFM standards Monitor staff attendance Oversees inventory determination, ordering, and organization of supplies Administer medications including IV therapy Handle point of care testing Additional responsibilities as assigned Teamwork: Works together to achieve our goals, collaborating to achieve success and respecting our differences as people. Supervisory Responsibilities This position will oversee Medical Assistants and Front office staff members by providing direction and guidance, monitoring performance, directing workflow, maintaining and coordinating schedules, and creating and presenting performance evaluations. This position is primarily a sedentary role working in an office environment with a moderate noise level. This role will interact with patients, coworkers, venders, and the public. This role will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to communicate fluently in English when writing and speaking. This position is primarily a sedentary role; however, this position needs to file, communicate over the phone and in-person, and use standard office and medical equipment. This position may be required to lift up to 15-20 pounds. Travel Local travel may be required for this position.
