MRI Technologist

This position will primarily function as a Scanning MRI Technologist. The role involves working alongside a collaborative MRI team supporting both outpatient and inpatient imaging services. The ideal candidate must thrive in a team-oriented environment. Demonstrating a positive attitude and strong communication skills is essential. A patient-centered approach to care is required. The selected candidate will collaborate with MRI staff technologists, charge technologists, registered nurses, and MRI safety personnel. Key responsibilities include performing high-quality MRI examinations on inpatient and outpatient populations. Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service throughout the imaging process is critical. Collaboration with MRI technologists, nursing staff, and MRI safety personnel is necessary. Adherence to department protocols and compliance with hospital and MRI safety standards is expected. This role contributes positively to a diverse, team-oriented work environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic clinical setting with varying patient volumes and acuity levels. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient MRI workflows is preferred. IV insertion and IV skill competency is a plus. All tasks must be performed professionally and efficiently to ensure a positive patient experience. Teamwork and professionalism are essential for success in this role. No weekend shifts or on-call requirements will be necessary. Candidates must be prepared to adapt to occasional day or evening shift coverage based on staffing needs.
