ABOUT THE JOB The Quality Inspector will support the Manufacturing/Production teams and be responsible for learning and executing detailed inspection processes necessary to ensure a quality product in a timely manner. Daily duties include inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality specifications are met, investigating and troubleshooting product and production issues, taking corrective action, and implementing standards, specifications, and processes cross‑functionally with Quality teams. The role requires relocation to Costa Mesa for a three‑month training program; housing, transportation, and related support will be provided during the stay. RESPONSIBILITIES Inspect incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure compliance with quality specifications. Investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to assess parts and assemblies. Collaborate with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to resolve quality problems. Validate and test assemblies and their components. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.). Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD). Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience inspecting machined parts and mechanical assemblies. Experience inspecting electrical and electronic components (power supplies, PCBs, wire harnesses). Experience in a facility with "AS9100", ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar QMS standard. Experience validating and testing assemblies and components. Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross‑functional teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Technical or associate’s degree in a related quality, mechanical, or aerospace engineering field. Three or more years experience in a quality assurance or inspection role in a manufacturing/production setting. IPC‑A‑610 or IPC‑A‑620 certification. Basic knowledge of various measuring tools and hand tools. Experience with manufacturing processes and related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD). Knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements and processes. Highly motivated team player willing to support a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented self‑starter with minimal oversight and strong communication skills. LOCATION & RETIREMENT Relocation to Costa Mesa for a three‑month training program. Housing, transportation, and related support will be provided during the stay. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS US hourly rate: $28 - $37 USD. Salary range is an estimate based on a wide range of factors, including experience, education, and business considerations. REQUIRED CLEARANCE & EXPORT CONTROL This position requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
