Welder - 2nd shift

Position Welder - 2nd shift Location: Litchfield, MN Job Id: 2315 # of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Follow blueprints to create quality welds. Troubleshoot issues on the shop floor and work with supervisors and production personnel to resolve problems, keeping projects moving forward. Prepare products to be welded by reading blueprints and using fixturing. Ensure all equipment is in good repair, properly set up, and used safely, including mandatory PPE. Identify and move finished products to the proper location within the shop using a forklift if trained. Operate manual wire‑feed welders and automatic welders, selecting appropriate welding wire, heat, arc, speed, depth, and weld bead size. Produce proficient welds in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, and down. Perform inspections as required by standards. Qualifications MIG welding experience required; pulse welding experience preferred. Prior fabrication background preferred. Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs without assistance from various positions. Ability to use cranes and hoists. Ability to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, layouts, and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
