Job Title: RN Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience required. License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - BLS Required - ACLS Required - 2+ years of hospital experience required - Experience with Meditech preferred Description: This position is for a travel RN in the Medical Surgical unit. The RN will provide care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. Responsibilities include initiating IVs, performing dressing changes, and managing patient care activities. The RN is expected to create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Competence in nursing practice must be demonstrated and validated. The role includes supervising other staff as designated within the department. The RN should possess specialized knowledge and skills in nursing practice. Experience with patient interaction and service recovery techniques is essential. A professional appearance is required, adhering to dress code policies. Body art should be covered whenever possible, and visible piercings outside of the ears are prohibited. Hair should be neat and clean, and grooming standards must be followed. Floating to other units may occur as necessary, based on staffing needs. Attendance policies will be strictly followed.
