Hotel /Motel Housekeeper

Base Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 / Hour Job Category: 1 Employee Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Cleaners to maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests at our bed and breakfast. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and provides excellent service to ensure a positive guest experience. Seasonal and Year Round Positions available Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and toiletries Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards Ensure rooms are ready on time for guest check-in Clean and maintain dining areas before and after breakfast service Handle laundry, including washing, drying, and folding linens Follow health and safety standards at all times Provide friendly and courteous interaction with guests when needed Qualifications: Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hospitality experience a plus) Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks) Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours per shift) Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and stretching Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 25–40 lbs (e.g., linens, cleaning supplies, small furniture) Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts and equipment Manual dexterity for tasks such as making beds, scrubbing, and handling cleaning tools Ability to climb stairs repeatedly Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying room temperatures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motions Summary: Our collection of boutique inns and retro-style motels provides guests with a relaxed, high-quality coastal experience, and we are looking for team members who take pride in hospitality and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
