The Boeing Company is looking for Software Engineers (Experienced, Senior) for a Phantom Works Proprietary program located in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus on developing Vehicle Management System (VMS) software to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The Vehicle Management System provides flight and subsystem control for the platform. Key responsibilities Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for the VMS software. Implement, integrate, and maintain C/C++ software components for real‑time embedded systems. Create and execute software development plans, verification plans, and test procedures; document results to demonstrate requirements satisfaction. Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for software domains and system‑specific issues. Contribute to the development and improvement of software processes, tools, and metrics. Track team progress and ensure product/process conformance to project plans and industry standards. Train and mentor other engineers. Summary pay range for Experienced: $126,660 - $171,350 Summary pay range for Senior: $160,650 - $217,350 Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
