Shift Details 3x12H Nights: 19:00 - 07:30 Float Required: L&D; possible floating between OCM and SMC Weekend Shifts: Scheduled as needed Experience & Requirements Minimum 3 years of solid NICU experience Level III or IV NICU experience preferred No first-time travelers Certifications BLS NRP Advanced NRP Patient Age Group Neonates Infants Skills & Responsibilities Attend high risk deliveries NICU IV access and care; Neonates care (34 weeks) Dysrhythmia interpretation/management Blood glucose monitoring & insulin administration Phototherapy & breastfeeding support Feeding management (bottle, breast, gavage) Tube placement/management Isolation precautions & sepsis work up Blood product administration Arterial line & central line blood draw management IV management & UAC/UVC Neonatal dosage calculations & medication administration Assist with lumbar puncture Manage neonatal abstinence syndrome & seizure disorders APGAR scoring & developmental care Patient/family teaching & phlebotomy Thermoregulation & respiratory support (Bubble CPAP, HFNC, etc.) Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP) Systems Used Medication System: Omnicell Documentation System: EPIC (Required) Communication System: SBAR #J-18808-Ljbffr
