Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New York, in good standing
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage documentation requirements and adapt to varying caseloads
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and positive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to preschool and school-aged students
• Conduct developmental assessments and participate in creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress toward therapy goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ mobility and independence
• Maintain compliance with state and district policies, reporting, and record-keeping
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
