Software Engineer I

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to help drive a large -scale software development initiative in our client's retail analytics platform. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Responsibilities <\/b> <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Build the back -end of a SaaS product utilizing technologies such as C# or Java and Node.js. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Take ownership of a complex set of internal/external services, and datasets. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Execute full lifecycle (design, build, document, unit/functional/load test, and deploy) of back -end APIs and infrastructure needed to scale our platform. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Tackle latency and throughput challenges in data process and request serving. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Minimum Qualifications <\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-6+ months of direct industry development experience in at least, one modern programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or Scala. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-AWS experience: Redshift, S3, SQS, SNS, Docker. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience working with Agile methodologies. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience using Elastic Search, Mongo or Dynamo. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Preferred Qualifications <\/b><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience working in a startup, retail, digital advertising, or e -commerce environment. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-History of delivering high quality production systems/services. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-End -to -end development experience including Node.js and React. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience using SQL. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience with Big Data technologies. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

-Experience with Spark tool set. <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
