Assistant Property Manager

Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Property Manager to ensure smooth operations of commercial properties. This role involves overseeing tenant relations, maintaining property standards, and supporting lease and financial administration within a small team environment. The Assistant Property Manager also coordinates with vendors and ensures compliance with regulations, contributing to an efficient and tenant-friendly property management experience.

Candidate will need reliable transportation. The portfolio consists of multiple properties within a 25 mile range.

Responsibilities

Manage tenant relations and provide excellent customer service
Administer leases and assist with lease documentation
Coordinate maintenance activities and property inspections
Collect rent and track budget expenses
Oversee vendor selection and management
Monitor property compliance with regulations and policies
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Property Manager
Support the Property Manager and team in daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in property management
Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field
