Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to be part of our expanding team of imaging professionals who are committed to providing excellent patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining processes and demonstrating compassion
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, including radiologists and referring physicians, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and upkeep imaging equipment, addressing malfunctions in a swift manner
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and keep patient records up to date within the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards of best practice

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of functioning independently as well as collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
