Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med/Surg position on the 2nd floor. This traveler role offers consistent daytime hours with no on-call requirements, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical patients on the 2nd floor.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and monitoring patient vitals according to physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of one year of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• 
  Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
