Veterinary Cancer & Surgery Specialists (VCSS) , part of Animal Outpatient Specialty Network (AOSN), is looking for a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our Oncology Team. The Role: In this position, you aren't just "helping out" - you are a vital part of the medical team. The Oncology CVT at VCSS communicates, facilitates, and advocates for their pet families and patients.

Advanced Nursing: Performing venipuncture, placing IV catheters, and monitoring anesthesia for biopsies or imaging.
Assisting with diagnostic sample collection and processing
Educating owners on treatment side effects, quality-of-life assessments, and home care
Case Management: Maintaining detailed electronic medical records and managing pharmacy refills.
Credentials: Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician in good standing.
While prior oncology experience is preferred, we are willing to train a high skilled CVT with a strong interest in the field.

What You'll Be Doing: As a vital member of our oncology team, your responsibilities will include:
Assist with and monitor anesthesia for Electrochemotherapy procedures
Participate in admitting and discharging a diverse patient population while maintaining patient and personal safety
Examine and document vital signs and patient needs
Including vacation and sick time, medical/dental/vision, HSA, FSA, etc.
