Lodge Housekeeper555 W MIDDLE VERDE RD - CAMP VERDE, AZ 86322OverviewSalary Range $17.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Education Level Not Specified Category Hospitality - HotelDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and stocking guest rooms and assigned areas of the Hotel or Lodge. This position ensures guest rooms, linen rooms, supply areas, and assigned public areas are clean, properly stocked, and maintained to provide a welcoming and comfortable guest experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including but not limited to:Clean and maintain guest rooms and assigned areas of the Hotel or Lodge, including floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, glass, mirrors, appliances, bathrooms, and vanity areas.Strip beds and remake them with fresh linens; replenish towels, linens, amenities, and other guest room supplies.Remove trash and debris, empty wastebaskets and ashtrays, and transport trash and dirty linen to designated areas.Pack and deliver guest room amenities and supplies to hotel floors; stock and maintain linen rooms and supply rooms.Perform assigned floor care and area cleaning, including scrubbing, waxing, stripping floors, sweeping stairwells and parking lots, and cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed.Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including delivering requested items such as blow dryers, irons, ironing boards, rollaway beds, extra towels, and other supplies.Inspect guest rooms and assigned areas for maintenance needs; assist with minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs and unplugging toilets, and report concerns requiring further attention to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor.Report, properly tag, and deliver lost and found items to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor for storage.Take responsibility for an assigned pass key during the shift and return it to the appropriate person at the end of the shift.Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures while maintaining a professional, courteous, and guest-focused attitude.Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsOpportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.Required Education: N/A Preferred Education: HS DIPLOMAWork Experience:No prior work experience required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.Ability to safely use cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.Ability to respond to guest requests in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.Ability to recognize and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.Ability to provide excellent guest service in a welcoming and professional environment.Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: N/AAdditional Requirements:Must be 18 years of age or older and available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a drug test and background check for an Arizona Gaming License.Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies, procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations.Must provide exceptional guest service in a welcoming, friendly, and professional manner, aiming to exceed guest expectations through attentive service and prompt response and resolution.
