This position services our water treatment equipment at customer sites throughout the United States.What your day will look like as a Traveling Field Service TechnicianThe Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle and air travel. Equipment-specific training will be provided.We are looking for candidates with any of the following qualifications:Diesel mechanic experienceExperience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, or skid steersElectrical experience working with 460V & 230V systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and/or PLCsPrevious technical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or plumbing experience is also encouragedThis position requires frequent work outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves regular manual labor in industrial environments that are not always climate controlled.This position also requires extensive travel throughout the United States, with approximately 90% travel, typically Monday through Friday.Benefits for Traveling Field Service TechniciansHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance available on your 1st day of employmentGenerous retirement savings planGenerous PTO package and paid holidaysCareer progression and development plansCompany wellness, rewards and recognition, and employee discount programsOur Total Rewards Program goes far beyond base compensation by providing a more fulfilling work experience and offering a competitive benefits package.Position Requirements for Traveling Field Service TechniciansHigh School diploma or equivalent2+ years of technical experience preferred; industrial maintenance, diesel mechanics, electrical, equipment operation, commercial process water, or related field experience is a plusExperience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devicesAbility to work in a high customer-facing positionAbility to identify and remedy potential safety concernsAbility to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work on a regular basisAbility to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physicalA valid driver's license with a clean driving recordTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 90% travel throughout the United States.The estimated salary range for this position is $30-$34hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
